Our annual holiday giving campaign Yappy Pawlidays aims to involve community members and business leaders in our service area in our mission throughout November and December.

Giving is easy - from MEHS staff and volunteers managing their own fundraising campaigns to area businesses collecting cash and supply donations on our behalf or donating a percentage of sales, ANYONE can participate at ANY level.

Give a shelter pet a temporary home for the holidays (and our staff a few well-deserved silent nights!)
Submit a foster form as the first step!
Then, if you have space to hang one more stocking by the chimney with care, email foster@mehs.org to schedule a pick up for your holiday guest Dec. 20th, 21st or 22nd.
Post-holiday drop off date is set for 1/2/2026.
We will be closed to the public Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.

Goshen Rotary will be hosting a tree and Rising Stars Boutique & Greek will be hosting a wreath on behalf of MEHS at the 3rd Annual GlenFestival of Trees!
