METRO EAST HUMANE SOCIETY
PET FOOD PANTRY
Since acquiring the Riverbend Pet Food Pantry in 2020, we've provided over 120,000 lbs of pet food to local families. Keeping pets with their people is part of the solution to the overcrowding of shelters nationwide.

All pet parents in the Metro East are eligible to utilize the pantry because at MEHS we're committed to supporting pet owners regardless of income barriers. No zip code requirements, too! More information & sign up form below.
A valid ID is required to enroll in pantry benefits. Food distribution amount is determined based on the number and type of pets in the home. (see below)

Dry/canned food, litter & pet supplies are available through our pantry when supplies are available. We do not deliver, but our pantry is open to walk-ins any time during our open hours!
Proof of animal spay/neuter is required to continue receiving pantry benefits after first month. Click here for more information on our Low-Cost Spay/Neuter services!
